Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, has opened registration for its 2026/2027 Post UTME and Direct Entry screening.
The registration starts on Monday, 25 May 2026 and ends on Friday, 14 August 2026. Candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME and chose AE-FUNAI as first choice can apply, but each applicant should check the cut-off mark for the chosen course before starting the form.
Who Can Apply for AE-FUNAI Screening?
Candidates who chose AE-FUNAI as first choice in the 2026 UTME can apply if they meet the required score for their course.
Candidates who did not choose the school as first choice can still apply, but they must change their school or course to AE-FUNAI on the JAMB portal on or before Friday, 14 August 2026. This rule also applies to Direct Entry candidates.
AE-FUNAI Courses and Cut-Off Marks
AE-FUNAI has released the minimum screening scores for its courses.
Some courses use the general 150 mark, while courses such as Medicine and Surgery, Nursing Science, Law and Medical Laboratory Science have higher scores.

O’Level Rules for Some Courses
Candidates for Medicine and Surgery, Law, Nursing Science and Medical Laboratory Science must have their O’Level results at one sitting.
Other candidates should follow the UTME and O’Level subject requirements on the university website. AE-FUNAI will also disqualify any candidate whose false information appears at any point during screening or admission.
AE-FUNAI ICT Centres for Registration
Candidates who want to register through AE-FUNAI ICT centres can visit any of the centres below.
- University CBT Centre at Zone A, University Campus
- Centre for Educational Services, JUPEB/Pre-Degree School, Aguogboriga Estate, Abakaliki
Candidates should use phone numbers they can access during registration, since the school may need fast contact during the screening period.
AE-FUNAI Screening Fee
Eligible candidates must pay a processing fee of ₦2,000 only.
Payment and registration should follow the steps stated by AE-FUNAI.
How to Apply for AE-FUNAI Post UTME/Direct Entry Form
Candidates should complete the screening registration through the university website.
- Visit the AE-FUNAI Post UTME application website.
- Enter the JAMB registration number to validate the profile.
- Provide a valid email address and phone number.
- Verify the email address with the OTP sent to the email.
- Make payment by transferring the full amount to the account number shown.
- Click “I have made payment” after sending the full amount.
- Proceed with the registration.
- Check the email address for registration acknowledgement.
Candidates should enter details with care. Names, email address, phone number, course choice and JAMB details should match the candidate’s records.
Screening Mode for 2026/2027
AE-FUNAI will screen candidates through internal screening of results.
All candidates must upload their O’Level and Direct Entry results on JAMB Central Admissions Processing System on or before Friday, 14 August 2026. AE-FUNAI will not process any Post UTME application without O’Level or A’Level result upload on JAMB CAPS.
