The FUNAAB admission portal is the first place candidates can use to check their status, while the JAMB portal can also be used to confirm an admission offer and complete the required action after admission has been given.
The process is short:
- Visit the FUNAAB admission portal.
- Enter the candidate’s registration number.
- Select Login to view the admission status.

Actions Required After FUNAAB Admission
Candidates who have been offered admission will need to complete the admission process through JAMB.
An admitted candidate is to visit the JAMB CAPS admission guide and accept or reject the admission offer.
Acceptance confirms the candidate’s decision on the offer recorded through JAMB CAPS. Rejection means the admission offer will not be accepted.
After accepting the admission, the candidate can proceed to the JAMB admission letter portal and print the admission letter.
The admission letter should be kept safely after printing.
Confirming FUNAAB Admission Through JAMB CAPS
Candidates can also check the JAMB portal to confirm whether an admission offer into FUNAAB has been recorded.
The steps are:
- Visit the JAMB EFacility portal.
- Log in with the candidate’s JAMB username and password.
- Scroll to Check Admission Status and select it.
- Select Access my CAPS.
- Open Admission Status to view the FUNAAB admission offer.
This check gives candidates another place to confirm their admission status after checking the FUNAAB portal.
Admission Status and Next Action
A candidate whose FUNAAB admission status shows an offer can proceed to JAMB CAPS and complete the acceptance or rejection process.
Once the offer has been accepted, the JAMB admission letter can be printed from the relevant portal.
Candidates whose admission is yet to appear may continue checking the FUNAAB admission portal and JAMB CAPS, since admission may be released in batches.
