The Management of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso wishes to inform all the students admitted in the 2025/2026 Academic Session (100 Level and Direct Entry) and the general public that a misleading message is currently circulating on social media regarding the “Compulsory Signing of Matriculation List.”
For the avoidance of doubt, the University Management wishes to state as follows:
The University is currently on break; therefore, no student is expected to come back to the campus for the purpose of signing the matriculation register or any official document for that matter, since the exercise is yet to commence.
The actual date of commencement will be officially communicated once the University resumes.
The only date released by the University in the official circular is the deadline: 30th September, 2026. Any other date, incduding “23rd September 2026” stated in the viral post, is false.
Students are advised to disregard the viral update as it did not emanate from the University Management or any authorized officer.
To this end, all stakeholders are enjoined to note that, when the exercise begins after resumption, students will be duly notified through official channels. Students are also advised to rely only on official University communication channels for updates.
