The AKSU admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session has been released. This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission at the Akwa Ibom State University that the admission list has been released for the 2026/2027 academic session. Candidates can check their status via the AKSU admission portal at www.aksu.edu.ng.
If you were among those who took part in the Post UTME screening exercise and want to know how to access your admission status, then this article will walk you through the steps to access the merit and supplementary admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Candidates offered provisional admission are to pay an Acceptance fee of Thirty Thousand Naira (NGN 30,000) excluding bank charges within two weeks from the date of the release of the admission. The Acceptance fee can be paid via aksu.edu.ng/app. Candidates are to ensure that they adhere strictly to the payment deadlines to avoid any inconvenience or late fees. More details below.

How to Check AKSU Admission List 2026/2027
This is to inform the general public that Akwa Ibom State University has released the admission list for candidates admitted into the various undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic session.
Candidates offered provisional admission are expected to ‘Accept’ the admission on the JAMB CAPS and pay their Acceptance Fee within two weeks of this announcement. Candidates can access the AKSU first batch admission list and the Akwa Ibom State University second batch admission list via the AKSU admission portal.
If you can’t find your name on the first or supplementary list, then you can check the AKSU 3rd batch admission list 2026 to be sure you have been offered provisional admission.
To check your admission status, follow the procedures below:
- Visit the AKSU admission portal.
- Select the “Check Status” button
- Enter your JAMB registration number
- Click the search button to access your admission status and print the registration procedure.
Check AKSU Admission List Via the JAMB CAP Portal
Applicants can also access their status through the JAMB admission portal by following the procedures below:
- Go to the JAMB efacility portal.
- Log in with your JAMB profile details.
- Scroll down and find the “Check Admission Status” tab.
- Select your exam year, enter your registration number, and click “Check Admission Status” to view your AKSU admission status.
- You may also use the Access My CAPS option to check your status and explore other services.
Candidates offered provisional admission are to proceed to JAMB CAPS portal and log in with their JAMB profile. The system will display the dashboard showing the admission details. Click on ACCEPT to show that you have accepted the admission offer.
After accepting the admission offer, remember to print out your admission letter and proceed to pay your acceptance and school fees as soon as possible.
