UNILAG Resumption Date 2026: The University of Lagos Senate has approved the resumption date for the 2026/2027 academic session. The school management has announced the resumption date to be 24th October 2026. The Academic Calendar for the 2026/2027 session will be available on the official school portal.

The meeting was held by the management and a decision was made on Wednesday, 25th September 2026 concerning the Resumption date and Academic Calendar for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

All academic activities are expected to resume immediately on 28 October 2026. Is the UNILAG Resumption Date for the 2026/2027 Academic Session Out?

Yes! The management of the University of Lagos has announced that the resumption date of the 2026/2027 academic session will take place on October 24, 2026. All academic activities are set to begin on October 28, 2026. Before the date was announced, a meeting with the school authorities/management and senate was held in which a suitable date was picked for both freshers and returning students.

The resumption date may be updated due to certain factors such as public holidays, or Strikes (ASUU). If the Senate is to make changes based on the above factors concerning the resumption date, the updated resumption date will be announced.
