What Is the FRSC Recruitment 2026 About?
The 2026 FRSC recruitment exercise is for appointment into selected cadres of the Federal Road Safety Corps.
FRSC is a para-military organisation and the lead agency for road safety administration and traffic management in Nigeria and the Corps has opened the recruitment process for qualified young Nigerians across officer, marshal inspectorate and road marshal assistant categories.
Where Will Candidates Apply for FRSC Recruitment?
Applications will be submitted online through the FRSC recruitment portal.

What Are the Requirements for Officer Cadre?
The Officer Cadre is under the first category and it has three levels listed in the recruitment notice.
Superintendent Route Commander, SRC, CONPASS 11
Applicants for Superintendent Route Commander must possess a first degree in MBBS or MBCH, Medical Doctors, from recognised places of learning.
They must also have an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate and they must not be less than 18 years or more than 35 years of age.
Route Commander/Deputy Route Commander, RC/DRC, CONPASS 10/09
Applicants for Route Commander or Deputy Route Commander must possess a first degree in B.Pharm, B.Sc Nursing, BMLS, LLB/BL or B.Eng/B.Tech in Engineering courses from recognised places of learning.
They must also have an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate and they must not be less than 18 years or more than 35 years of age.
Assistant Route Commander, ARC, CONPASS 08
Applicants for Assistant Route Commander must possess B.Sc, BA or HND from recognised places of learning.
They must also have an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate and they must not be less than 18 years or more than 35 years of age.
What Are the Requirements for Marshal Inspectorate Cadre?
The Marshal Inspectorate Cadre is under the second category.
Applicants for Marshal Inspector II and III, MI-II and MI-III, CONPASS 07 and 06, must possess NCE, ND/OND, RN/RM or CHEW from recognised places of learning.
Applicants in this category must not be less than 18 years or more than 30 years of age.
What Are the Requirements for Road Marshal Assistant Cadre?
The Road Marshal Assistant Cadre is under the third category.
Applicants for Road Marshal Assistant II and III, RMAII and RMAIII, CONPASS 04 and 03, must have a minimum of three credit passes in SSCE, GCE, WAEC, NECO or NABTEB, in not more than two sittings.
The credits must include English Language and Mathematics and applicants must not be less than 18 years or more than 30 years of age.

Who Can Apply as Drivers, Riders and Artisans?
Applicants for positions such as Computer Operators, Drivers, Mechanics, Motorcycle Riders, Electricians, Instrumentalists, Tailors, Plumbers and other trades may apply under this category.
They must have a minimum of three credit passes in SSCE, GCE, WAEC, NECO or NABTEB.
They must also have a Trade Test certificate or other relevant professional certificates where applicable and drivers or motorcycle riders must possess the required class of valid Driver’s Licence.
What Are the Special Age Rules for Drivers?
Articulated and tow truck drivers must be between 26 and 40 years of age.
Drivers and motorcycle riders must also possess the appropriate class of valid Driver’s Licence, while all applicants under this category must be physically and mentally fit.
What Are the General Requirements for All Applicants?
All applicants must meet the general recruitment requirements stated by FRSC.
Applicants must:
- Be Nigerian by birth
- Be computer literate
- Use a personal email address and phone number
- Be single
- Be physically and medically fit
- Be of good character
- Be free from financial indebtedness
- Have no criminal conviction
- Have no tattoo on any part of the body
- Present a Medical Fitness certificate from an approved government hospital
- Declare all certificates and qualifications at the point of recruitment
Possession of a valid National Driver’s Licence will be an added advantage for all cadres.
What Height Is Required for FRSC Recruitment?
Male applicants must have a minimum height of 1.65 metres.
Female applicants must have a minimum height of 1.58 metres.
What Should Medical, Allied Health and Legal Applicants Provide?
Applicants in medical and allied professional disciplines must possess current practising licences where applicable.
Lawyers must have been called to the Nigerian Bar.

Why Must Applicants Declare All Certificates?
Applicants must declare and present all certificates and qualifications at the point of recruitment.
Any certificate or qualification not declared during recruitment will not be accepted later for career progression in the Corps.
