Federal University of Education, Zaria has announced the physical Credential Screening Exercise for the 2026/2027 undergraduate admission process.
The exercise is for prospective candidates who chose Federal University of Education, Zaria as first choice and scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME, as well as Direct Entry candidates who are seeking admission into the University.
When Will FUEZ Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening Start?
The screening exercise will start on Monday, 29 June 2026.
Screening will begin by 10:00am daily and candidates will be attended to at the Academic Office.
Where Will the Screening Take Place?
The physical credential screening will take place at the Academic Office of Federal University of Education, Zaria.
Candidates are to appear at the venue with the required documents and payment evidence, since the exercise is a physical screening process.

Who Is Eligible for the FUEZ Screening Exercise?
The screening exercise is open to UTME candidates who chose Federal University of Education, Zaria as first choice and scored 150 and above in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
Direct Entry candidates are also covered by the screening notice.
What Should Candidates Do Before Attending the Screening?
Candidates are expected to create a profile through the University admission page and complete the online application steps before going to the Academic Office for screening.
The application page is available through the FUEZ admission portal.
How Can Candidates Create a Profile and Prepare for Screening?
Candidates are to follow the online application process on the University portal before going for physical screening.
- Visit the FUEZ admission portal.
- Click “Online Application” to create an account.
- Log in to the account.
- Update the profile and upload the required credentials.
- Generate payment for EIDF/Credential Screening and pay through Remita.
- Print the Expression of Interest Data Form.
- Proceed to the Academic Office for screening.
How Much Is the FUEZ Screening Fee?
The screening fee is Two Thousand Naira (N2,000).
Candidates are required to present evidence of payment at the point of screening and the payment will be made after generating payment for EIDF/Credential Screening through Remita.
What Documents Are Required for FUEZ Screening?
Candidates are required to present the following items at the point of screening:
- JAMB UTME e-registration and result slip for the 2026/2027 Academic Session, for UTME candidates
- 2026 Direct Entry registration slip, for Direct Entry candidates
- Original O’level statements of results or original certificates
- Expression of Interest Data Form
- Evidence of payment of N2,000 screening fee
- Evidence of O’level result upload on CAPS from an accredited JAMB CBT centre
- Indigene Certificate
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
- Two copies of recent passport photographs
What Should Candidates Who Did Not Choose FUEZ First Do?
Candidates who did not initially choose Federal University of Education, Zaria as first choice, but are willing to study at the University, are advised to visit any accredited JAMB CBT centre.
They are to obtain a Change of School form, popularly called a “Green Card” and change their first-choice school to Federal University of Education, Zaria on the JAMB portal.
Why Is CAPS O’level Upload Evidence Required?
Candidates are required to present evidence that their O’level result has been uploaded on CAPS from an accredited JAMB CBT centre.
This requirement will help the screening team confirm that the candidate’s admission records have been placed on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System.
What Should Candidates Note Before Going for Screening?
Candidates are advised to adhere to all the listed requirements for the screening exercise.
A candidate who attends without the required documents may have difficulty completing the physical credential screening at the Academic Office.
