University of Ilorin, UNILORIN, has extended the registration period for its 2026/2027 Post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise.
The registration exercise, which was earlier scheduled to end on Sunday, 5 July 2026, will now remain open until Sunday, 12 July 2026, giving eligible candidates more time to complete their applications.

What is the new UNILORIN Post UTME and Direct Entry registration deadline?
The new deadline for the UNILORIN 2026/2027 Post UTME and Direct Entry registration is Sunday, 12 July 2026.
Eligible candidates are advised to complete their registration before the new closing date, as the extended period is meant for applicants who still need to finish the application process.

Who is eligible for the UNILORIN Post UTME screening?
Candidates who scored 180 and above in the 2026 UTME and selected UNILORIN as their first-choice university are eligible to participate in the screening exercise.
Such candidates may proceed with the registration, provided they also meet the stated O’Level requirements.
Who is eligible for UNILORIN Direct Entry screening?
Qualified Direct Entry applicants are eligible to participate in the 2026/2027 UNILORIN screening exercise.
Direct Entry applicants are advised to complete their registration before Sunday, 12 July 2026, as the same extended deadline applies to the screening exercise.
What O’Level requirements apply to applicants?
Applicants must possess at least five O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
This requirement applies to the screening exercise and candidates are expected to ensure that their details are correct before the deadline.
What should candidates do about JAMB CAPS?
Candidates are required to ensure that their O’Level results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS, as failure to do so will make them ineligible for admission.
Awaiting results are allowed, but candidates with awaiting results are advised to upload their results immediately after release.
