The programme covers Arts, Engineering, Science and Social Sciences. It is a nine-month remedial programme that will prepare candidates for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and improve their chances of gaining admission into the University’s 100-Level degree programmes.

Who is eligible to apply?
Applicants are expected to have at least five O-level credit passes at one or two sittings, including English Language.
The remaining subject requirements will depend on whether the applicant is seeking admission into an Arts-based, Science-based or Social Science-based course.

- CRS or IRS
- Government
- Literature-in-English
- Other relevant subjects
Such candidates will be required to register for WAEC, NECO or both examinations. Every missing credit relevant to the chosen course must be passed before the end of the Pre-Degree Programme.
For example, an applicant who already has credits in English Language, Biology and Chemistry may apply, but the applicant will still be expected to pass the other required subjects before completing the programme.

Can candidates awaiting O-level results apply?
Yes. Candidates awaiting their O-level results are eligible to submit an application.
Their results will still be required for the admission process.
How much is the LASUSTECH Pre-Degree application fee?
The application fee is N15,000.
The payment is non-refundable and will be made through the LASUSTECH Pre-Degree application portal.
How will candidates apply for the programme?
