GOMSU New Post-UTME/DE 2026: Cut-off mark- Eligibility and Registration Guide

This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into the various degree programmes of Gombe State University for the 2026/2027 Academic Session that there shall be an Online Registration for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise from Wednesday, 1st to Friday, 31th July, 2026,

for candidates who made the University their First Choice Institution on the JAMB Portal and:

GOMSU Post-UTME/DE 2026: Cut-off mark, Eligibility and Registration Details

a) Scored a minimum of 150 points in the UTME for degree programmes in Agriculture, Education, Environmental Sciences, Arts and Social Sciences;

b) Scored a minimum of 180 points in the UTME for Computer Science;

c) Scored a minimum of 160 points in the UTME for Architecture, Science Laboratory Technology, Physiology, Anatomy, Pharmacology, Human Nutrition and Dietetics;

d) Scored a minimum of 190 points in the UTME for Public Health;

e) Scored a minimum of 200 points in the UTME for Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing and Law Programmes.

  1. NCE/IJMB/Advanced Level GCE/Diploma for Direct Entry (Please note that the NCE, IJMB, Advanced Level GCE or Diploma must be in the same course being applied for. Eligible candidates shall pay a non-refundable screening charge of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000) only through the University’s online screening portal.

  1. Enter JAMB Registration Number and click ‘Get Details’.
  2. Pay the Screening Fee online using ATM/Debit/Credit Card, Bank Transfer, USSD or Visa QR.
  3. Fill the Form to create UTME/DE Screening Account.
  4. Click Register.
  5. Candidate’s details captured shall be displayed.
  6. Click Generate Data Form.
  7. A PDF file of two pages shall be generated:
    (a) Page 1 of the PDF captures the candidate’s registration details.
    (b) Page 2 is the candidate’s Post-UTME Test (CBT) Exam Card.
  • Print the two pages and attach photocopies of all credentials to Page 1, and bring them along with the originals to the Department you applied to for physical screening immediately.

Note:

i. Change of state of origin, LGA and date of birth shall not be entertained after registration and screening.
