The University of Lagos Post-UTME Aptitude Test for the 2026/2027 admission exercise will be held from Monday, 27 July to Friday, 31 July 2026.
The test will be a competitive online examination under remote proctoring. Each candidate will be required to follow the examination instructions throughout the session, as a breach may lead to disqualification or another sanction determined by the University.

Can a Candidate Use a Business Centre or Cybercafe?
Candidates are strongly advised to use their personal laptops where available.
A candidate who chooses to use a business centre or cybercafe will do so at personal risk and will remain responsible for meeting every examination condition, including the requirement for an isolated examination area.
UNILAG has not approved any cybercafe, business centre or CBT centre to conduct or administer the examination on its behalf.
How Should the Examination Environment Be Prepared?
The examination area must support continuous monitoring and identification of the candidate.
Candidates should ensure that:
- The room is quiet.
- The area is free from interruptions.
- No other person is present.
- The lighting clearly shows the candidate’s face.
- The webcam remains unobstructed.
- The candidate stays seated and within full camera view.
- The candidate’s face and ears remain visible.

How Long Will the UNILAG Post-UTME Test Last?
The examination will last 30 minutes.

What Login Details Will Be Used?
Candidates who visit the examination website directly will log in with:
- Username: UTME registration number
- Password: Surname written entirely in lowercase letters
The surname must be entered in lowercase.
How Will Safe Examination Browser Be Installed?
Safe Examination Browser, also known as SEB, will be required before the test can be launched.
Candidates should follow the steps shown on the examination platform.
- After logging in, the candidate should click “Take Exam” to open the instructions page and download the SEB version provided for the operating system.
- The candidate should install the specified version and grant every requested permission.
- After installation, the candidate should return to the examination page and click “Click here to take your exam”.
Only the version listed on the instructions page will be accepted.
A candidate who already has the required version does not need to reinstall it. Failure to grant the requested permissions may prevent examination access.
Is the UNILAG Mock Examination Compulsory?
Yes. Every candidate must take part in the mock examination.
The mock examination will remain available until 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, 25 July 2026. No extra payment will be required.

UNILAG may verify a candidate’s identity before, during or after the examination.

What Actions Will Be Treated as Examination Misconduct?
Misconduct may include:

Can UNILAG Change the Examination Arrangement?
The University may suspend, postpone, reschedule or cancel the examination or any part of it, where circumstances require such action.
Such a decision may be taken without liability to the University.
