To be considered for the University of Lagos (UNILAG) Direct Entry program, you must meet the following requirements:-
- You must have chosen UNILAG as your first choice when applying for Direct Entry through JAMB for the 2026/2027 academic year.
- You need to have achieved at least five credit passes in relevant subjects at the O’Level (O’Level) level, including English Language and Mathematics. It is important to note that these grades must be obtained in a single sitting.
- You must be at least 16 years old by October 31, 2026.

How to Apply for UNILAG Direct Entry Admission 2026/2027
All candidates who have ensured that they qualify for this exercise should follow all the instructions below to apply.
- Go to the official UNILAG admissions website.
- Look for the “2026/2027 Direct Entry (DE) Application” link and click on it.
- Use your Direct Entry Application number as your username and your surname (in lowercase) as your password to log in to the application portal.
- Create and print a payment invoice for the ₦2,000 screening fee.
- Go to any commercial bank or pay online to complete the payment for the screening fee.
- Return to the UNILAG portal and fill out the screening form.
- Upload copies of all relevant academic results, such as your First Degree, HND, OND, JUPEB, Cambridge A’ Level, etc.
- Carefully review your application details to ensure accuracy and then submit the form.
- Print the generated Direct Entry e-registration slip.
- Take the printed e-registration slip and your original academic credentials to the Admission Office, Room 174, Senate House, UNILAG.

Online Payment:-
- Visit the UNILAG admission portal at www.unilag.edu.ng.
- Click on the “Pay Now” button.
- Select the “University of Lagos Post UTME Fee” payment type.
- Enter your personal and payment details.
- Click on the “Submit” button.
Bank Transfer:
- choose your bank from the list of available banks.
- Generate a Remita invoice.
- Take the Remita invoice to any branch of your bank and pay the fee.
- Once you have paid the fee, return to the UNILAG admission portal and click on the “Verify Payment” tab.
USSD Code
- Select your bank from the list of available banks.
- Dial the USSD code for your bank.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the payment.
- Once you have paid the fee, return to the UNILAG admission portal and click on the “Verify Payment” button.
