What Are the Admission Requirements?
Candidates will be required to meet the stated admission requirements before they can be considered for the Distance Learning Programme.
Applicants must have at least five O’level credit passes in relevant subjects and the credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
English Language and Mathematics at credit level are compulsory for all candidates. Credit passes in Physics, Chemistry and Biology are also compulsory for candidates seeking admission into the Distance Learning Programme.

How Long Will the Programme Last?
The duration depends on the applicant’s entry qualification.
- O’level entry: 8 semesters, equal to 4 years
- ND or NCE entry: 6 semesters, equal to 3 years
This means O’level candidates will spend a longer period than candidates entering with ND or NCE qualifications.

How Can Candidates Apply?
Applicants for the Distance Learning Programme should complete the application form online through the Al-Hikmah University online admission portal and pay a non-refundable application fee of N10,000.
After completing the online application, candidates should print the duly completed form.
The online payment receipt should be presented to the University Bursary Department, where the official receipt will be obtained.
The completed form, relevant credentials originals, photocopies and official receipts should then be presented at the Centre for Distance Learning for screening.
