​a. Bachelor of Nursing Sciences (B.N.Sc.)

​b. Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (B.MLS)

​c. Bachelor of Science Human Nutrition and Dietetics (B.Sc. HND)

​d. Doctor of Physiotherapy (D.PT.)

​ii. Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences:

​a. B.Sc. Human Anatomy

​b. B.Sc. Physiology

​iii. Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry:

​a. Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.)

ELIGIBILITY & EXEMPTION:

Applications are only open to candidates that scored 180 and above at the 2026 UTME Exercise and have completed the procedures for change of their Institution of First Choice to the Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences, Kwale.

​Candidates with disabilities (as stipulated by JAMB) are exempted from the post-UTME Exercise.

Candidates from outside Nigeria who participated in the 2026 UTME exercise are exempted from the post-UTME exercise.

AGE LIMIT:

​In line with JAMB Policy, only candidates who would be 16 years and above by 30th September, 2026 are eligible to apply.

GENERAL ADMISSION APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must possess at least Five (5) Credits passes in the relevant subjects in the WASSCE, NECO SSCE, NABTEB or GCE O/L Examinations at not more than a single sitting for courses in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry and not more than two (2) sittings for other courses as well as other matriculation requirements stipulated by JAMB.

HOW TO APPLY

Candidates must log on to www.fumhskportal.org/postutme/frontend/apply/index.html

Stage 1: Access the Admission Portal

​The applicant visits the FUMHSK post-UTME Application Portal.

​The portal provides two categories of applicants:

​Nigerian (UTME) Candidate

​International Candidate

Stage 2: Verify Applicant Details

​Applicants are required to enter:

​JAMB Registration Number

Stage 3: Create Application Account

​Passport Photograph (Red Background: Candidates without red background will be disqualified)

​The passport photograph must be:

​JPG or PNG format

​Maximum size: 500KB

Stage 4: Payment of Application Fee

​A Screening Fee of Two Thousand Naira (Excluding Portal Application Charges of 3,500 Naira)

The applicant clicks: Pay Now with Remita

​The applicant is redirected to the Remita payment gateway to complete payment.

​After payment, the applicant returns to the portal and clicks:

​Stage 5: Programme Selection

​The applicant selects:

​First Choice Programme

​Second Choice Programme

Stage 6: Submit Application

​After completing all required information, the applicant clicks:

​Submit Application

​The portal:

​.1 Validates all entries

​.2 Saves the application

​.3 Generates the final application record

​Assigns an Application Number (if not already assigned)

​Marks the application as Submitted

​Stage 7: Print Application Form

​Immediately after successful submission, the portal displays:

​Application Number

​Confirmation Message

​The applicant can then:

​1 Download and Print the Application Form (PDF)

​2 Proceed to the Applicant Dashboard.

Stage 8: Applicant Login

​Applicants who have already created accounts can log in using:

​Email Address

​Password

​Successful login redirects them to their personal dashboard.

Candidate will receive information on the scheduled date for the post-UTME exercise upon closure of the application exercise.
