Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) has announced that admission into its Library and Information Science programme under the College of Humanities and Social Sciences is now open for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The university, currently celebrating its 20th Anniversary (2006–2026), invites qualified UTME and Direct Entry candidates to apply for admission into the programme.
According to the university, the programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to organize, manage, and disseminate information in today’s digital world. Students will also be trained to manage libraries and information centres, use digital information management tools, promote information literacy, support research and decision-making, and provide leadership in the evolving information society.
