Federal University Wukari has opened its online Post UTME screening exercise for UTME and Direct Entry candidates seeking admission into its degree programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Registration commenced on Monday, 20 July 2026. The portal for registration and acknowledgement slip printing will close at midnight on Saturday, 19 September 2026.
Each UTME candidate must have:
- Scored at least 150 in the 2026 UTME
- Obtained five relevant O’Level credit passes
- Included English Language and Mathematics among the credits
- Obtained the credits in no more than two sittings
Candidates who meet these requirements may proceed with the online registration.
Who Is Eligible for FUWUKARI Direct Entry Screening?
Direct Entry candidates must have selected Federal University Wukari as their first choice and must possess the required qualifications.
Each Direct Entry candidate must have:
- Five relevant credit passes in GCE, SSCE or NECO
- Obtained the O’Level credits in no more than two sittings
- A-level credit passes in IJMB, NCE or ND
University Diploma qualifications are not accepted for Direct Entry screening.
What Is the FUWUKARI Post UTME Screening Fee?
The pre-admission screening fee is ₦2,000 for each candidate.
Bank charges are excluded from the stated fee, so the total amount charged during payment may include the applicable transaction cost.
When Will FUWUKARI Post UTME Registration Close?
The registration portal will close at midnight on Saturday, 19 September 2026.
Candidates must complete the registration and print the acknowledgement slip before the portal closes.
How Can Candidates Apply for FUWUKARI Post UTME or Direct Entry Screening?
Candidates will complete the registration through the FUWUKARI pre-admission screening portal.
The following process will apply:
- Visit the FUWUKARI pre-admission screening portal.
- Select the pre-admission screening instructions and read the registration guide.
- Enter the JAMB registration number in the space provided.
- Enter the surname exactly as it appears in the JAMB record.
- Select “Get Detail” to display the JAMB information.
- Select the payment link to open the WEBPAY page.
- Supply the required payment information and complete the transaction.
- Return to the main page and select “Continue Registration”.
- Enter the remaining biodata and other required details.
- Upload a passport photograph through the browse option.
- Complete the registration and print the acknowledgement slip.
Candidates should enter the JAMB registration number and surname carefully, as an error may prevent the portal from displaying the applicant’s details.
What Happens After the JAMB Details Are Displayed?
A qualified UTME candidate whose original course choice meets the stated requirement may proceed to payment by supplying the requested information.
After payment, the candidate will return to the main registration page, select the continuation link and provide the remaining biodata and required records.
All information must be accurate.
Is a Passport Photograph Required?
Yes. Each candidate must upload a passport photograph during registration.
The photograph will be selected from the candidate’s device through the browse button on the registration page.
Must Candidates Upload Their O’Level Results to JAMB?
Yes. Every UTME and Direct Entry candidate must upload the relevant O’Level results to the JAMB portal.
The university has listed the upload as a basic admission requirement. Completing the FUWUKARI screening form alone does not replace the required JAMB result upload.
Can a Candidate Apply With a University Diploma?
No. Federal University Wukari does not accept a University Diploma as a Direct Entry qualification under the supplied screening requirements.
Accepted qualifications include IJMB, NCE and ND, subject to the stated A-level credit requirement and the required O’Level results.
What Should Candidates Print After Registration?
Candidates must print the acknowledgement slip after completing the online registration.
The printing service will remain available on the portal until midnight on Saturday, 19 September 2026.
What Happens When a Candidate Enters False Information?
Any false declaration may lead to disqualification at any stage of the admission process.
Candidates should ensure that their names, examination details, results, qualifications and uploaded records are correct before submission.
