IAUE Current Acceptance Fee | Clearance & Registration 2026/2027

Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) has released the acceptance fee payment, clearance and registration procedures for newly admitted UTME and Direct Entry candidates for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The guidelines follow the publication of the IAUE Admission List for 2026/2027. Acceptance fee payment will become available on Tuesday, 18 August 2026, while the clearance exercise will begin on Monday, 31 August 2026.

New students will complete parts of the clearance process online and other parts physically. Candidates should complete each stage in the stated order and keep every required printout and payment receipt.

IAUE Acceptance Fee Is ₦50,000

Newly admitted candidates will pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of ₦50,000.00.

Payment will be made online through the IAUE Enterprise Schools Portal using any of these payment options:

• Pay-Direct
• MasterCard
• Verve

Candidates should keep the payment receipt because it will be checked during clearance.

First Batch Acceptance Deadline

The stated deadline for first batch candidates is Monday, 7 September 2026, described as four weeks from the publication date.

Candidates who fail to accept their admission on JAMB CAPS and pay the acceptance fee before the stated deadline will forfeit the admission offer.

JAMB CAPS Admission Confirmation Comes First

Newly admitted candidates should first confirm their admission through JAMB CAPS before proceeding with IAUE acceptance fee payment and clearance.

The process is:

1. Open the JAMB CAPS guide and access the candidate’s admission status.
2. Accept the admission offer.
3. Print the JAMB Admission Letter in colour.
4. Print the JAMB Original Result Slip in colour.

The JAMB admission letter will be authenticated during verification.

A candidate who intends to decline the admission can use JAMB CAPS to reject the offer formally.

IAUE Bio-Data Update

After the acceptance fee stage, newly admitted candidates should update their personal information and other required details through the university portal.

The bio-data printout will form part of the documents required during faculty clearance, so the information entered should match the candidate’s admission records.

IAUE Faculty Clearance Requirements

Faculty clearance will take place at the candidate’s Faculty Conference Hall.

Candidates should attend with the required documents and records ready for verification.

IAUE Portal Documents

The following documents will be required from the IAUE portal:

3. Provisional Admission Letter
4. Admission Status
5. Acceptance, Faculty/Departmental and Campus Communication Dues receipts
6. Identity Card Clearance Form

JAMB Documents

Candidates should also present these JAMB records:

• Original JAMB Result Slip
• Original JAMB Admission Letter
• Registration for Screening Payment Receipt

Both the admission letter and result slip will be checked during verification.

Identification and Personal Records

Candidates should prepare:

• National Identification Number (NIN) Slip
• Sponsor’s NIN Slip and phone number for candidates aged 16 to 18
• Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
• Local Government Identification Certificate
• Functional email address and phone number
• Four passport photographs

Academic Records

Candidates should present their applicable academic results:

• O’Level result, either NECO or WASSCE
• NCE, OND or NABTEB result for Direct Entry candidates

Student File Requirements

Four file jackets will be required and can be obtained from the University Bookshop.

Candidates will place the relevant documents and approval notices inside their files before final submission to the Faculty Officer.

Candidates will also download the Professional Development/Services clearance document from the IAUE portal.

Candidates should use the downloaded IAUE portal document when completing these requirements.

JAMB Document Verification and Clearance Approval

The JAMB Admission Letter and Result Slip will be authenticated through a QR code scan at the ICT desk.

After verification, the documents will be stamped and signed.

Once the Admissions Unit clears a candidate, the portal will generate an Admission Clearance Approval Notice. Faculty clearance will also produce a Faculty Clearance Approval Notice.

Both approval notices should be printed and placed inside the student’s file jacket before the completed file is submitted to the Faculty Officer.

Campus Communication Network Registration

Every newly admitted candidate must register a Glo SIM card through ICT/Glo personnel at the designated registration point.

The registration is for the Campus Communication Network (CCN).

Candidates should complete this requirement as part of the admission registration process.

IAUE School Fees Payment

School fees payment comes after clearance has been completed.

Cleared candidates can proceed online to make the required payment. The current charges and payment details are available in the IAUE School Fees Schedule.

Special Clearance Location for Two Faculties

Candidates admitted into the Faculty of Vocational & Technical Education and the Faculty of Agriculture have a separate clearance arrangement.

Their clearance will be completed at the Rumuolumeni Campus, Home Economics, Tourism & Hospitality Building.

After clearance, the candidates will proceed to the Ndele Campus to begin their academic programmes.
