Shehu Shagari University of Education, Sokoto (SSUES) has directed candidates seeking admission for the 2026/2027 academic session to upload their Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination results on the JAMB portal.
The directive covers candidates who selected SSUES as their first choice and scored at least 150 in the 2026 UTME. Direct Entry candidates are also covered.
Candidates who have yet to upload their results need to complete the upload because only those whose O’Level results are successfully available on the JAMB portal will be considered for admission processing
Candidates Covered by the SSUES Directive
The O’Level upload requirement applies to UTME candidates seeking admission into SSUES for the 2026/2027 academic session, provided they have selected the university as their first choice through JAMB and have scored at least 150.
Direct Entry candidates are also required to have the relevant O’Level results uploaded on the JAMB portal.
Candidates who did not originally select SSUES as their first choice can process a JAMB Change of Institution at a JAMB-accredited CBT centre and select Shehu Shagari University of Education as their first choice.

Candidates must have at least five credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics.
The required credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings.

Successful O’Level Upload Is Required for Admission Processing
SSUES has stated that only candidates who successfully upload their O’Level results on the JAMB portal will be considered for admission processing.
A candidate who meets the UTME score and other admission conditions can still be excluded from processing if the required O’Level result has not been uploaded successfully.
Candidates should confirm that the upload has been completed correctly at the accredited CBT centre.
