Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC) Screening Exercise at a Glance
POLAC has scheduled its 13th Regular Course screening for 9 to 18 September 2026 at Wudil, Kano.

The Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC), Wudil, Kano, has invited applicants for the 13th Regular Course to a comprehensive screening exercise beginning on Wednesday, 9 September 2026, candidates will take part according to the CBT batch assigned to their state.
The wider screening period will run from Wednesday, 9 September to Friday, 18 September 2026, covering the CBT examination, physical features screening, medical screening and Selection Board interview.
POLAC 13th Regular Course Screening Dates
Candidates will be required to print their examination slips between 25 August and 8 September 2026.
The comprehensive screening exercise will run from 9 to 18 September 2026 at the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano.
The exercise covers:
- CBT examination
- Physical features screening
- Medical screening
- Selection Board interview

POLAC CBT Examination Schedule by State
The CBT examination has been divided into eight batches, with each batch assigned a date and group of states.

POLAC Screening Documents Required
Candidates are expected to attend with original copies and photocopies of the required documents.
The required records are:
- Primary School Leaving Certificate
- SSCE results from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB
- JAMB Result Slip
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
- L.G.A. Indigene Certificate
- Letter of Identification
- Properly completed and signed Guarantor’s Form
- Medical Certificate of Fitness from a Government Hospital
- NIN Slip
- Four passport photographs
- Application Acknowledgement Slip printed from the POLAC Admission Portal
Both the originals and photocopies should be available for the screening exercise.
POLAC Screening Dress Code
Candidates are expected to attend the screening exercise in the stated white clothing.
The required dress is:
- White T-shirt
- White shorts
- White socks
- White canvas shoes
Candidates should prepare the full stated attire before travelling to Wudil.
Candidates Must Arrive One Day Before Their CBT Date
Each candidate is expected to arrive at the Nigeria Police Academy one day before the examination date assigned to the candidate’s state.
A candidate scheduled for 10 September, for example, will therefore be expected at the Academy on the preceding day.
The assigned state batch should be checked before travel arrangements are made.
Candidates Will Be Accommodated at the Academy
All candidates will be accommodated within the Nigeria Police Academy during their screening period.
The accommodation arrangement applies while candidates are taking part in the exercise.
Parents will not be allowed into the Academy during the screening.
POLAC Admission Portal Will Carry Further Information
Candidates are expected to refer to the POLAC Admission Portal for further information connected with the exercise.
The Application Acknowledgement Slip required for screening is also to be printed from the admission portal.
Examination slips are scheduled for printing from 25 August to 8 September 2026.
POLAC Has Warned Candidates About Fake Social Media Accounts
Candidates have been warned to beware of fake social media accounts impersonating the Nigeria Police Academy.
Screening information should be checked through the stated POLAC admission channel rather than accounts claiming to represent the Academy without authority.
Applicants should pay close attention to this warning while preparing for the screening exercise.
