FEDPOD New Admission List 2026/2027: Check Status on JAMB CAPS and Understand Each Result

Federal Polytechnic Ohodo, FEDPOD, has released its admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session, covering candidates who applied for admission into the Polytechnic’s various National Diploma programmes.

Candidates can currently check their Federal Polytechnic Ohodo admission status through JAMB CAPS.

FEDPOD Admission Status Is Available on JAMB CAPS

Candidates seeking to know whether they have been offered admission should use the JAMB CAPS admission status platform.

The checking process starts through the JAMB EFacility portal, where each candidate will log in with the JAMB username and password connected to the application.

How to Check FEDPOD Admission Status

Candidates can check their admission status through the following process:

1. Visit the JAMB EFacility portal.
2. Log in with the candidate’s JAMB username and password.
3. Scroll to Check Admission Status and select it.
4. Select Access my CAPS.
5. Select Admission Status to see whether admission into Federal Polytechnic Ohodo has been offered.

The result displayed on CAPS will show the current position of the candidate’s admission application.

JAMB CAPS Admission Status Meanings

Candidates may see different responses after checking their admission status and each response reflects a different stage of the admission process.

Admission Offered

An Admission Offered response means JAMB has approved the candidate’s admission.

The candidate can proceed to accept or reject the admission offer through the available JAMB process.

Admission in Progress

An Admission in Progress or AIP, response means the Polytechnic has reviewed the application and recommended the candidate for admission.

The recommendation is still passing through the stated approval process, including approval by the Head of Institution followed by JAMB’s final review.

Recommended

A Recommended response means the Polytechnic has considered the candidate for admission.

The application is awaiting JAMB’s review to confirm that the required admission criteria have been met.

Not Admitted

A Not Admitted response means the candidate has not yet been selected or considered for admission.

The response may appear where the school’s list has not yet been released for the candidate or where the application remains under review.

Pending

A Pending response means the admission application is still under review.

A final decision has not yet been made.

Admitted Candidates Can Accept or Reject Their Offers

Candidates who have been offered admission are expected to accept or reject the offer through biometrics at an approved JAMB CBT centre or through SMS.

For the SMS option, the candidate can send ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number registered with JAMB.

The registered line should have up to N50 in the main account, as the stated process does not take the charge from borrowed airtime or Xtra Credit.

JAMB Admission Letter Comes After Acceptance

Candidates who accept their admission can proceed to print their JAMB admission letter.

The admission letter printing stage therefore follows acceptance of the admission offer.

Phone Users May Need Desktop Mode

Candidates checking JAMB CAPS with a phone may find that the full admission status options are not displayed, with some users seeing only the welcome message.

Phone users can switch their browser to desktop mode to display the complete CAPS page. Chrome users can open the browser options and select Request desktop site.
