Kashim Ibrahim University, KIU, formerly Borno State University, BOSU, has released the cut-off marks for the 2026/2027 admission exercise.

The cut-off marks are for candidates seeking admission into the university through the latest Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME and the marks cover programmes across the College of Health Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Arts and Education, Faculty of Social and Management Sciences and Faculty of Science.

What Is the General KIU Cut-Off Mark for 2026/2027?

The general cut-off mark for the Kashim Ibrahim University Post UTME screening is 150.

Candidates who scored at least 150 in the latest UTME are eligible to proceed with the Kashim Ibrahim University Post UTME screening form, provided they also meet the cut-off mark for their chosen programme.

Who Is Eligible for KIU Post UTME Screening?

Candidates are eligible for the KIU Post UTME screening if they scored at least 150 in the latest UTME and also reached the cut-off mark for the programme they selected.

A candidate who meets the general score but falls below the required score for a chosen programme may not qualify for that programme’s screening stage.

What Happens If a Candidate Scores Below the Required Mark?

A candidate who scores below the required cut-off mark for the selected programme is not eligible for the Post UTME screening for that course.
