Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) has released its first batch admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Candidates who applied for admission during the session can now check whether their names appear on the published admission list and can also confirm their admission status through JAMB CAPS.
Candidates whose names are listed will need to complete the JAMB admission confirmation process, pay the acceptance fee when payment becomes active and complete the required clearance and registration stages.
IAUE First Batch Admission List 2026/2027
The first batch list contains candidates admitted after the physical screening, biometric verification and JAMB UTME ranking process.

Candidates who find their names on the list should also check JAMB CAPS because the JAMB admission record will be required for the next admission steps.
IAUE has advised admitted candidates to keep checking the university’s official website for clearance procedures and other admission instructions.
IAUE Acceptance Fee, Clearance and Registration
Newly admitted students will be required to pay the IAUE acceptance fee and complete clearance and registration.

Acceptance fee payment will be activated on Tuesday, 18 August 2026.
Clearance at the departments and faculties will start on Monday, 31 August 2026. Candidates should follow the admission instructions issued for their batch and complete the required processes within the approved period.
Confirming IAUE Admission on JAMB CAPS
Candidates whose names appear on the IAUE admission list should confirm the offer through JAMB CAPS.
The process is as follows:
- Check the admission status through the JAMB CAPS guide.
- Locate the candidate’s JAMB registration number.
- Use the phone number linked to the JAMB profile.
- Type the JAMB registration number, leave a space and add ACCEPT or REJECT.
- Send the message to 55019 or 66019.
- Wait for the confirmation message.

A candidate who wants the admission offer should use ACCEPT. A candidate who does not want the offered place should use REJECT.
The response should be sent from the phone number linked to the candidate’s JAMB profile.
Admission Letter and Original JAMB Result Slip
After confirming the admission offer, candidates should print the required JAMB documents.

Candidates should also print their result slip through the JAMB Original Result Slip guide.
Both documents should be printed in colour.
These records will form part of the documents required during the admission process.
IAUE Admission Dates for First Batch Candidates
Several dates apply to candidates admitted through the first batch.
Tuesday, 18 August 2026: Acceptance fee payment will be activated.
Monday, 31 August 2026: Clearance will start at the departments and faculties.
Monday, 7 September 2026: The stated approved deadline for the batch is four weeks from the date of publication.
Candidates should work with the dates published for the batch and keep checking IAUE admission updates for any further instructions.
More IAUE Admission Lists May Be Released
Candidates who do not find their names on the first batch list can continue checking for later admission lists.
Further names may be released under the UTME, Direct Entry, JUPEB and Basic categories.
A missing name on the first batch PDF does not provide information about later batches, so candidates can continue checking the admission updates as more lists are published.
