Supplementary applications are open across the university except for the programmes listed below:

- Nursing
- Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Computer Engineering

- Marine Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Petroleum Engineering
Candidates applying for supplementary admission will therefore need to select from programmes outside these excluded courses.
Candidates Covered by the Supplementary Admission
Candidates who did not meet the Merit and Catchment Area cut-off marks for their original programmes have been advised to use the supplementary admission process to consider other available choices.
The process also applies to candidates affected by the stated JAMB programme-change date.
JAMB CAPS Programme Change Condition
RSU has stated that only candidates who changed their programmes on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) on or before 4 July 2026 were considered by the University Senate Admission Committee before the cut-off marks were released.
Candidates who changed their programmes after 4 July 2026 have been advised to proceed with the supplementary admission application.
This date is therefore relevant to candidates who had already attempted to move from one programme to another through JAMB CAPS.

How to Apply for RSU Supplementary Admission
Candidates are required to complete the supplementary application through the RSU Candidate Application Portal.
The application should be completed on or before 6 September 2026.
Applicants should select an available programme that is outside the list of excluded courses.
