Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti (BOUESTI) has released its admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session and candidates who applied for first-degree courses can now check whether they have been offered admission.
Admission status is currently available through the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
Candidates will need their JAMB login details to check the status, while anyone who receives an admission offer will also need to accept or reject it through the stated JAMB process.
BOUESTI Admission List for 2026/2027
The BOUESTI admission list covers candidates who applied for first-degree courses for the 2026/2027 academic session.
JAMB CAPS is currently the stated channel for checking BOUESTI admission status. Candidates can use the JAMB CAPS information page for the referenced process and the JAMB e-Facility portal for account access.
A candidate’s CAPS page may show an admission offer or another status that reflects the stage of the admission review.
How to Check the BOUESTI Admission List
Candidates can check BOUESTI admission status through the JAMB e-Facility portal.
The process is:
- Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal.
- Log in with the candidate’s JAMB username and password.
- Scroll down and select Check Admission Status.
- Select Access My CAPS.
- Open Admission Status to see whether admission into BOUESTI has been offered.
The response displayed on CAPS will show the candidate’s current admission position.
BOUESTI JAMB CAPS Status Meanings
JAMB CAPS may display one of several responses while a BOUESTI candidate checks admission status and each response reflects a different stage of the admission process.
Admission Offered
Admission Offered means JAMB has approved the candidate’s admission.
The candidate can proceed to accept or reject the offer through the available JAMB acceptance options.
Admission in Progress
Admission in Progress (AIP) means the school has reviewed the application and recommended the candidate for admission, while the recommendation is still moving through the required approval process before final JAMB review.
The admission decision is therefore still being processed.
Recommended
Recommended means BOUESTI has considered the candidate and the application is awaiting JAMB review to confirm that the required criteria have been met.
A final admission outcome has not yet been displayed.
Not Admitted
Not Admitted means the candidate has not yet been selected or considered for admission.
The status may appear where the relevant list has not been released at that stage or where the application remains under review.
Pending
Pending means the application is still under review and a decision has not yet been made.
The candidate can continue checking CAPS for a later status update.
How to Accept or Reject BOUESTI Admission
Candidates whose CAPS status shows Admission Offered are expected to accept or reject the admission through the stated JAMB channels.
Acceptance or rejection can be completed through biometrics at an approved JAMB CBT Centre.
An SMS option is also available. The candidate can send ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number registered with JAMB.
The registered line should have up to ₦50 in the main airtime balance for the SMS process. JAMB does not take the charge from borrowed airtime or Xtra Credit.
JAMB Admission Letter After Acceptance
A candidate who accepts the BOUESTI admission offer can proceed to print the JAMB admission letter.

The admission letter comes after acceptance of the offer.
Phone Users May Need Desktop Mode for JAMB CAPS
Some candidates checking JAMB CAPS with a phone may see only the welcome message and may not see the Admission Status option.
Desktop mode can be used to display the complete CAPS page.
Chrome is the recommended browser in the supplied process for candidates using a phone. The candidate can open the Chrome options and choose Request desktop site, after which the complete page should be displayed.
The Admission Status option can then be checked from the full CAPS view.
