Lagos State University of Science and Technology, Ikorodu, has announced the commencement of its Post UTME online admission screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The screening is for qualified UTME and Direct Entry candidates seeking undergraduate admission into LASUSTECH and all applications will be completed online through the university admission portal.

UTME candidates are eligible for the LASUSTECH Post UTME screening if they chose Lagos State University of Science and Technology as their first choice in the 2026 UTME, scored at least 195 and possess the required O’Level credit passes for their chosen programme.
The O’Level credit passes must be obtained at not more than two sittings.
Who Is Eligible for LASUSTECH Direct Entry Screening?
Direct Entry candidates seeking admission into LASUSTECH for the 2026/2027 academic session must also take part in the screening.
Such candidates must have obtained the Direct Entry form from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB and must have chosen Lagos State University of Science and Technology as their first choice.
What Applies to Lagos State Origin Candidates?
Only candidates of Lagos State origin for 100 level and Direct Entry, who have successfully proven their claims before the State of Origin Verification Committee, SOVC, set up by Lagos State University of Science and Technology, will be allowed to take part in the online admission screening exercise.
This applies to candidates who are relying on Lagos State origin status for the screening process.
How Much Is the LASUSTECH Screening Fee?
Candidates are to pay N2,000 for Post UTME screening and N8,000 as administrative fee to Lagos State University of Science and Technology.
Payment will be made through the LASUSTECH admission screening portal, where candidates are expected to follow the stated procedure for LASUSTECH application for admission.
When Will the LASUSTECH Screening Portal Open and Close?
The online screening portal will open at 12:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 1 July 2026.
The portal will close at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, 31 July 2026 and candidates are expected to complete the online screening within this period.
How Can Candidates Apply for LASUSTECH Post UTME or Direct Entry Screening?
Candidates are expected to use the university admission portal for payment and online screening.
The process should be followed in this order:
- Visit the LASUSTECH admission screening portal.
- Make the required payment of N2,000 for Post UTME screening.
- Pay the N8,000 administrative fee.
- Follow the procedure stated on the portal for LASUSTECH application for admission.
- Complete the online screening before 11:59 p.m. on Friday, 31 July 2026.
Candidates should enter their details with care, since the exercise will be conducted online.

What O’Level Requirement Must Candidates Meet?
Every candidate must satisfy the O’Level requirements for the programme of choice before taking part in the Post UTME screening.
Candidates must also upload their O’Level results on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System, CAPS, as required for admission processing.
Will Candidates Visit the LASUSTECH Campus for Screening?
The screening exercise does not require physical presence on the Lagos State University of Science and Technology campus.
Candidates will complete the screening online through the university admission portal.
What Should Candidates Check Before Starting the Application?
Candidates should confirm that LASUSTECH is their first choice, their UTME score meets the required minimum of 195 where applicable, their O’Level subjects match the chosen programme and their O’Level results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS.
Direct Entry candidates should also confirm that they have obtained the Direct Entry form from JAMB and selected LASUSTECH as first choice.
LASUSTECH Admission Screening Notice for 2026/2027
Lagos State University of Science and Technology, Ikorodu, has notified the general public and candidates seeking admission for the 2026/2027 academic session that the Post UTME online admission screening exercise has commenced.
Only qualified UTME candidates who chose LASUSTECH as first choice, scored at least 195 and have the required O’Level subjects at credit level in not more than two sittings are eligible.
Direct Entry candidates must have obtained the JAMB Direct Entry form and chosen LASUSTECH as first choice.
Candidates of Lagos State origin for 100 level and Direct Entry must have successfully proven their claims before the State of Origin Verification Committee before they will be allowed to take part in the online admission screening exercise.
The portal will open at 12:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 1 July 2026 and close at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, 31 July 2026.
