Kwara State Government, through the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, has released the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination, BECE, timetable.
The examination will start on Tuesday, 7 July 2026 and papers will continue until Wednesday, 15 July 2026, with subjects arranged by date, paper code, duration and sitting time.

All accredited Custodians are expected to deliver all deposited answer scripts to the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, CA Division, not later than Friday, 17 July 2026.
Where Will Principals Collect Examination Papers?
Principals are to collect examination papers at the designated Custodian point or at the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development Headquarters.
This instruction applies to the handling of examination papers throughout the BECE period.
What Is the Rule on Examination Malpractice?
The law against examination malpractice is still in force.
Schools, candidates and examination handlers are expected to support a hitch-free conduct of the re-sit examination; full cooperation has been requested by the Ministry.
