Delta State College of Education, Mosogar has invited suitably qualified candidates to apply for admission into its regular and weekend Dual Mandate Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The admission covers Nigeria Certificate in Education, Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Science in Education and Bachelor of Arts in Education programmes.

Applicants will be considered for the 5-year regular and weekend Dual Mandate Programme, while candidates who already hold an NCE result can apply for 2-year direct entry into the degree programme.

Who Can Apply for DESCOEM NCE and Degree Programmes?

Candidates for the 3-year NCE programme should have 4 relevant O’Level credits.

They will be admitted without JAMB examination.

Candidates with NCE can apply for 2-year direct entry into the degree programme, provided the NCE result is from any College of Education or its equivalent in the relevant department.

What Benefits Have Been Stated for Admitted Candidates?

The College states that graduates of the 5-year Dual Mandate Degree Programme will be mobilised for NYSC.

The notice also states that such graduates will have a competitive advantage, with placement on Level 8 in the civil service, against Level 7 stated as applicable to graduates of universities.

Candidates seeking admission into the Nigeria Certificate in Education programme should have credit passes in 4 relevant O’Level subjects, including Mathematics and English Language.
