NICTM New HND Admission Form 2026/2027: Courses Fee and How to Apply

National Institute of Construction Technology and Management, NICTM, Uromi has opened admission into its Higher National Diploma, HND, programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The admission form is for candidates who hold a National Diploma in a related field, have the required O’Level credits and can present evidence of Industrial Training.

NICTM has listed HND programmes across construction, engineering, computing and business fields.

The available HND programmes are:

1. Architectural Technology
2. Building Technology
3. Business Administration and Management
4. Civil Engineering Technology
5. Computer Engineering Technology
6. Computer Science
7. Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology

Who Can Apply for NICTM HND Admission?

Candidates seeking full-time HND admission at NICTM must meet the stated academic and Industrial Training requirements.

Applicants must have:

• Five O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics
• Three other O’Level credit passes relevant to the chosen course
• National Diploma, ND, with at least Lower Credit in a related discipline
• Evidence of Industrial Training, IT
• IT logbook duly signed and stamped by the organisation

A candidate applying for Civil Engineering Technology, for example, should have an ND background related to the course and an IT record that supports the chosen field.

How Much Is the NICTM HND Admission Form?

The NICTM HND application fee is ₦10,000.

Applicants are advised to follow the payment process on the admission portal or make enquiries at the Admissions Division of the polytechnic where needed.

How Can Candidates Apply for NICTM HND Admission?

Candidates can complete the HND admission application through the NICTM admission portal.

1. Visit the NICTM admission application portal.
2. Create an applicant account or log in if an account already exists.
3. Complete the online application form.
4. Select the preferred HND programme.
5. Upload the required documents.
6. Submit the application.
7. Print the acknowledgement slip.

The acknowledgement slip should be kept safely after printing, as it will serve as proof of application submission.

Can Candidates Apply at the Polytechnic?

Candidates may also apply at the Admissions Division of the polytechnic.
