SDU weekend undergraduate admission for 2026/2027 has been opened for eligible SSCE and ND holders.

Southern Delta University, Ozoro, has opened applications for admission into its intensive B.Sc. Weekend Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The programme is available to qualified holders of SSCE results from WAEC or NECO and National Diploma certificates, while courses will be offered at the Main Campus and Orerokpe Campus.
Who can apply for the SDU weekend programme?
The weekend undergraduate programme is open to O’Level and Direct Entry applicants who meet the stated academic requirements.
O’Level applicants
An O’Level applicant must possess at least five credit passes in SSCE from WAEC or NECO.
The credits must be obtained in no more than two sittings.
Direct Entry applicants
A Direct Entry applicant must possess an Ordinary National Diploma from a recognised school.
The minimum accepted grade is Lower Credit.

How much is the SDU weekend admission form?
The application fee depends on the applicant’s entry route:
- Regular applicants will pay N10,000.
- Direct Entry applicants will pay N15,000.
Payment will be made through a bank draft issued in favour of Southern Delta University, Ozoro.
Where should the bank draft be obtained?
The bank draft must be obtained from a standard Deposit Money Bank.
A draft issued by a Micro-Finance Bank will not be accepted, so applicants should confirm the bank type before payment is completed.
How will applicants collect the admission form?
The application process will be completed through the university offices after the bank draft has been obtained.
- The applicable fee will be paid through a bank draft in favour of Southern Delta University, Ozoro.
- The bank draft will be presented at the university’s Bursary Department.
- An official receipt will be issued by the Bursary Department.
- The receipt will be taken to the Directorate or Admission Office.
- The application form will then be collected.
- The completed form will be returned before the closing date.
Applicants should retain the official receipt issued by the Bursary Department.
Can SSCE holders apply without an ND?
Yes. An applicant with at least five required O’Level credits from WAEC or NECO may apply through the regular entry route.
The results may be from one sitting or two sittings.
Can ND holders apply through Direct Entry?
Yes. An ND holder may apply through Direct Entry where the qualification is an OND from a recognised school and the grade is at least Lower Credit.
The Direct Entry application fee is N15,000.
Are the courses offered on one campus?
The listed programmes are divided between two campuses.
Courses under Agriculture, Communication and Media Studies, Computing, Environmental Science and Science will be based at the Main Campus, while programmes under Administration and Management, Social Science and Arts will be based at the Orerokpe Campus.
What is the deadline for the SDU weekend admission form?
The deadline for purchasing and returning the completed admission form is 20 November 2026.
Both form collection and submission must be completed by that date.
What should applicants confirm before making payment?
Each applicant should confirm:
- The preferred course and its campus
- The correct entry route
- The applicable application fee
- The OND grade, where Direct Entry will be used
- The number of O’Level sittings
- The bank issuing the draft
The payment amount should match the chosen entry route, since regular and Direct Entry applicants have different fees.
